ABOUT THE SHOW

We record where the work happens.

Halfwave started with a borrowed recorder and a question: who still knows how this is done? Three seasons later the question has not changed.

01

On location

No studio. Every episode is taped at the bench, the kiln or the loom.

02

No rush

An episode runs as long as the story does, and the cuts stay audible.

03

No scripts

We arrive with questions and leave with whatever the room gave us.

MR

M. Reyes

Former radio producer. Asks the second question.

JT

J. Tanaka

Sound engineer. Hears the room before anyone speaks.
